Fighting for Overall Health

The community of Dian Dian Fodedougou is a food desert. Despite being a food desert, the powerful and resilient people of Fodedougou maintained a very sustainable lifestyle. For some people living in Fodedougou there is an issue with malnutrition due to poverty, lack of access to seeds, or sometimes lack of information on the importance of crop diversity. To combat this issue, Humanitarian Action Guild has started a farm that will promote crop diversity, the importance of seed processing, livestock management, and different agriculture techniques that’s proven to yield stronger and hearty crops.

In addition to the fight against malnutrition, Humanitarian Action Guild started an exercise space for any interested community members to utilize.
