Back To School Book Bag Drive Aug. 18, 2024.

Study after study shows students with supportive resources are 81 percent more likely to graduate, 44 percent more likely to attend post-secondary education, and they earn higher grades and miss fewer days of school. It is really important to let the youth in Washington, D.C. know that they have a support system rooting for them in their endeavors, especially in Ward 7 and Ward 8. On August 18th, we are hosting a book bag drive, that is not only going to help provide resources to the youth living in Washington, D.C. but also create a network for parents who are living at and below the poverty line and needs ongoing support.
