Farm Expansion

A sure way of fighting economic disparities in the realm of agriculture and agribusiness is expansion! It seems like a simple fix, and it really is. The issues that many farmers face includes: the lack of manpower, seeds, equipment, and knowledge to leverage new influx of crop production. Humanitarian Action Guild is currently working with “Ghana Man” to not only develop a business model that would ensure the expansion and maintenance of his pepper farm, but also the equipment, manpower, and connections needed to fast tract the expansion.

Currently, Humanitarian Action Guild is working with other farmers to configure the best strategies in order to expand. The process involves: working closely with farmers by shadowing daily operations to assess needs, forming and building trusting relationships to emphasize accountability and community, and lastly listening to the aspirations and needs of farmers to understand the farmer’s vision.
